Reallocation of assets

Problem

This retired person is comfortable to retire, but at the same time, would like to leave a legacy for his own future family and his alma mater who has developed him to be the person he is today (successful in his own rights).  Concurrently, he is concerned about his own retirement years, which may eat into all his current assets and may not even be enough for his lifetime, especially if an illness strikes.

Solution

We rearranged his assets appropriately, so that he can fulfill all the above wishes.  He can be guaranteed a constant stream of income for the rest of his life, no matter how long he lives.  He will be able to transfer some risks of health out to some insurance providers and at the same time, he can leave a legacy to his alma mater so that his name can be carved out on the walls of the school.
